8.18.16  The Library has developed a strategic plan through a thorough process of active citizen participation between February and June 2016. The plan is now available for public review online and at all three library locations. Public listening sessions to discuss the plan and gather feedback have been scheduled. Those dates are: 

Indulge your book love by scouting for previously loved treasures at the Friends of the Library Book Sale on Friday, August 19, 5:30-8 pm and Saturday, August, 20, 9 am-2 pm. Friday night is for Friends members only, with memberships available at the door starting at $10. All items $1 or less.

The La Crosse Public Library Archives is seeking an outgoing, motivated individual who can multi-task, work well with a variety of people, be detail-oriented, professional, and prioritize and balance a variety of tasks and deadlines all with a smile.

LearningExpress: Learn computer skills and brush up on math and grammar concepts. Practice for standardized tests like the GED, CLEP or ASVAB, for occupational exams like the NCLEX, or for the citizenship exam. Students from elementary grades through high school can practice basic concepts in math, reading, and science. Job-seekers will find tools to improve their resumes and interview skills.
