12.23.15  We have had tremendous interest in our new streaming media service, Hoopla, which is available to City of La Crosse residents. We thought we should clarify this. For library card purposes, having a La Crosse address doesn't necessarily make you a City of La Crosse resident. Library service is based on where you pay your taxes. So, folks in Campbell, Shelby, Medary and other small townships who may have a city address, are not, for library purposes, city residents.

We will be closed Thursday, December 24, Friday, December 25, Thursday, December 31, 2015, and Friday, January 1, 2016, for the Christmas and New Year's holidays. Hours will be the same at all locations on all other days.
