Event Details
Join us on Saturday, November 18 for a 3-hour antique appraising event! Antiques expert and author Mark Moran will appraise 40 local heirlooms ranging from fine art and toys to books and more! Spectators are welcome throughout the program and Mr. Moran's appraisals will be presented on a large screen for all to see.
All appraisals require pre-registration. Due to the tremendous interest in this event, Mr. Moran will not be able to take walk-ins. Please register below with your name, contact information, and a description of the item you'd like to have appraised that meets the following requirements:
*Limit of 1 antique per person
Categories of objects may include:
- Fine art, including paintings, drawings, prints and statuary.
- Furniture (photos of large pieces may be sent in advance)
- Ceramics, including figural pottery, vases, dishes, kitchenware and stoneware
- Glassware, including marbles and souvenir items
- Vintage photographs, including snapshots, tintypes, ambrotypes and daguerreotypes
- Advertising, including posters, lithographed tin, paper and figural objects
- Folk art, including carvings, quilts, weathervanes, windmill weights and "outsider" art
- Assorted toys, including dolls (bisque, composition and plastic), windups and mechanical banks
- Metalware, including iron, bronze, brass, pot metal, silver, silver plate
- Clocks, including mantel, hanging and figural; also pocket and wristwatches
- Costume jewelry, including brooches, bracelets, earrings
- Musical Instruments, including string, wind and reed instruments
- Antique and vintage lighting
- Books
- Sporting Memorabilia
Excluded items: all weapons, including swords and knives (though folding knives with advertising are accepted); traps (like leg-hold); Nazi memorabilia; coins and paper money; fine jewelry, including precious gems; Beanie Babies

About the Presenter
Mr. Moran has over 20 years of appraisal experience and has co-authored more than 2 dozen books on antiques. He has appeared as a guest expert on “Antiques Roadshow” and has appraised antiques and collectibles at more than 1,000 events across the Country.
