Purpose of Meeting
The La Crosse Public Library is starting the planning process to revamp the multipurpose room (former museum space) at the Main Street Library. We are currently analyzing this space and looking at potential uses for this room as we plan for the future of public libraries and adapt to the evolving needs of the City of La Crosse. MSR Design, the architectural team hired to develop plans for this project, will be on site for a series of meetings to gather input from the community as we work together to reimagine this public space.
We value your ideas and invite you to attend one of our public listening sessions. These public meetings will be held at the Main Street Library (800 Main Street) on Monday, March 18 from 6:30-8:00 PM and on Tuesday, March 19 from 2-3:30 PM. Come ready to participate in an active discussion and brainstorming session.
We look forward to seeing you there! We'll also be holding public meetings at the South Community Library to gather community input for plans for a proposed mixed-used community facility on the South Side of La Crosse. Meetings about this proposed South Side facility will be held at the South Community Library on Tuesday, March 19 from 7-9 PM and on Wednesday, March 20 from 10-11:30 AM.
