A FREE event brought to you by the La Crosse Public Library and Hillview Urban Agriculture Center

•Tomato Tasting–choose the best
Drop off your tasting samples at Hillview's Greenhouse (corner of 7th and Vine) on Friday, September 14 from 2-5 PM. 


•Instructions on Growing Garlic & Saving Tomato Seeds


•Cooking Demonstrations
10:15 a.m. Garlic & Tomato gazpacho
11:15 a.m. Garlic Hummus Dip and Quinoa Tomato Salad 


•Tomato Pageant–Bring your beautiful heirlooms!
 Drop off your tomato pageant contestants at the La Crosse Public Library (800 Main Street) during open hours by Thursday, September 13. Pageant winners will be announced at the event at 11:45 a.m. 

•Door prizes

•Herb plants for sale

•Activities for children provided by GROW La Crosse!
