October is National Archives Month. We're celebrating with the return of our popular Genealogy on the Internet workshops. Bring your own family questions and have a chance to practice with your own information. There is no printing available in the training room; please bring a flash drive if you wish to download images you find.
Location, location, location as realtors say and the location is important for family history. Knowing where people lived helps you find records and information about them. Come to learn about online historic map sources that will help you in your search. The focus is the United States with some foreign information. This workshop meets on Tuesday, October 16 from 10 AM-Noon and on Thursday, October 18 from 5:30-7:30 PM.
Seating is limited for each session. Please call the Reference Desk at (608) 789-7122 to reserve your seat.
