Do you want strategies for talking about race and racism while reading with your children?
Are you struggling to find books that encourage discussions about race?
Are you ready to move beyond colorblindness?

This interactive conversation facilitated by two white members of La Crosse Area Showing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ), in cooperation with La Crosse public library staff. All families are welcome to attend, but the conversation will be primarily focused on strategies and approaches to opening conversations about race and racism with children while reading aloud with them.

Pizza and beverages will be provided.
