Welcome back for a new season of Monday Mornings at Main - our lifelong learning series for ages 50 and better!

 New! Exercise your mind and body, while filling your cup with coffee and camaraderie!  Starting in September, before each program we'll be offering our Chair Fitness class from 9:00-9:30am, then having time for coffee and conversation from 9:30-10:00am.  At 10:00am, we'll hear from a new speaker each week on a variety of topics, ranging from local history, health and wellness, to popular entertainment and more.  Join us for one or all elements of the program!

    • On Monday, December 5 join us for "Identity Theft: Protect and Prevent," presented by Jeff Kersten, Bureau of Consumer Protection
      Identity theft continues to be the fastest growing crime in the United States. The more you learn about it, the less vulnerable you are. The Wisconsin Bureau of Consumer Protection will explain the different types of identity theft, how to recognize it and how to prevent it – including information about Fraud Alerts and Security Freezes. Receive tips for safeguarding personal information and how to recover from Identity Theft. Helpful brochures will be available.
       

      Biography
      Jeff Kersten is the Agency Liaison for the Bureau of Consumer Protection within the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection.  As the Agency Liaison, Jeff travels around the state to educate the public, businesses and law enforcement on privacy protection, data security, identity theft, and other areas of consumer protection. Jeff has over 12 years of experience as a police officer and is a prior Consumer Protection Investigator for the Bureau of Consumer Protection.
