Event Details
The La Crosse County Historical Society will be presenting their new "Juxtapose" exhibit at the Main Street Library from June 4-July 13. This exhibition features dresses and other clothing worn in La Crosse between the 1850s and 1960s. Learn the stories of local women, both prominent and unknown, as we "juxtapose" these articles of clothing with present-day images of the places these women lived and worked. Time will collapse, and they will enter our world as we go back in time to explore theirs. Free admission!
The exhibit is open to the public on Tuesdays-Saturdays from Noon-5 PM.
Please use the special gallery entrance on 9th Street.
For more information, please call the La Crosse County Historical Society at 608-782-1980.
