On Wednesday, October 3, we'll be screening and discussing legendary filmmaker Terrence Malick's classic film "Days of Heaven." Called the "most gorgeously photographed film ever made" by the Village Voice, this film was painstakingly shot almost entirely during the 'magic hour,' the brief moments of soft light that occur shortly after sunrise and before sunset. Cinematographer Nestor Almendros won an Oscar for his trailblazing work, which continues to awe audiences today. (1978, PG, 94 minutes)
