Join certified yoga instructor Bernice Olson-Pollack for this free community yoga program encouraging gentle body movement for all ages, abilities and walks of life. Each class will explore basic yoga poses, yogic breathing, mindfulness, and relaxation techniques surrounding a different topic each month. Attendees may bring a yoga mat or towel if they wish.
On Saturday, Nov. 13, we'll explore the topic of impact of yoga on stress levels. One of the main goals of yoga is to achieve tranquility of the mind and create a sense of well-being, feelings of relaxation, improved self-confidence, improved efficiency, increased attentiveness, lowered irritability, and an optimistic outlook on life.
